Your Body of Light ~ Your True Self

Soul Evolution

Keys to your Evolution

The soul’s experience is really a process of natural and progressive evolution growing in awareness, steadily progressing through higher levels or stages of consciousness.

By taking on increasingly challenging experiences in physical form, especially those of opposite polarities. These cause us to make important, “soul-searching” choices and call upon us to discover our inner resources. We choose as spiritual beings to incarnate into a physical body for exponential experience lived out in minute moment unsurpassed by the infinite nature of our soul allowing great shifts of evolution in a blink of the eye from our soul’s perspective.  In fact these “lives” we cal this is never related as anything like the sort, instead of within our soul connections, we speak about this as simply an “Experience”. We experience ourselves as in a state of total separation from others and from the rest of reality. Only by going into this physically separated human form can we know ourselves as beings of light in our own right.

Not just by our own separated individual experience, but also buy and through the witness of our similarities with others, we can see ourselves in others and by doing so we can begin to witness our true nature through the honoring and love for others. This is how we learn who we are and how to become all that we are.

We are here to know ourselves and be all we can be, step by step. The body and personality you have now are merely the vehicles you have chosen for this latest step in your journey.

Here are the five stages of soul evolution through human reincarnation, together with the typical learning experiences associated with each stage:

SEVEN LEVELS WITHIN EACH SOUL AGE

As mentioned, each soul age has seven distinct stages, so that an individual can be referred to as a fourth level Old Soul or a seventh level Young Soul. Every soul age level gives a distinct flavor to the lifetimes spent within its arena. Except for the sixth, which takes more, each level takes about three lifetimes to complete, though some essences speed through faster, while the solid types enjoy a more thorough, leisurely pace.

A description of each level is given below along with examples of people in that level. You can see how each level influences a lifetime’s behavior. The reason there are so many more people listed in some of the levels is that those are the places that lend themselves more easily to comfort with a fair amount of public attention.

TO LOOK AT EACH STAGE IN MORE DETAIL, CLICK ON EACH OF THE COLORED LINKS BELOW:

Stage 1. The Infant Soul- Initiation into the new stage. Toe in the water. First glimpses of the new consciousness

Stage 2. The Baby Soul – Building foundations. Wading in and out. Compare and contrast the old and new consciousness.

Stage 3. The Young Soul – Taking the plunge. Letting go of the prior stage. Exploring the new consciousness.

Stage 4. The Mature Soul – Total immersion in the new consciousness. Identification with it. Internal integration.

Stage 5. The Old Soul – Going public with it. Expressing one’s level of consciousness. External integration.

6th Level ~ Affecting others with one’s level of consciousness. Burning off any karma incurred. Inspirational.

7th Level ~ Mastery of consciousness at this level. Passing on the lessons learnt. Mountaintop perspective.

So we begin reincarnating as Infant souls, complete novices at physical existence. At this first stage we are largely in a state of incompetence and terror, frankly. But through experiences and choices we learn and grow. We steadily progress from being Infant souls to Baby souls to Young souls to Mature souls. Finally, we enter the fifth stage as accomplished Old souls, the experts of human existence.

The Seven Levels Within Each Stage:

Within each stage there are seven sub-stages or levels. For example, we begin as first-level Infant souls, then move on to become second-level Infant, then third-level Infant, and so on. On completing the seventh level of the Infant stage, we then enter the next stage as first-level Baby souls.

The first level of any stage is like putting a toe in the water; the final level is like teaching others how to swim:

SEVENTH LEVEL:

Whew, seventh level! The karma’s paid; it’s time for some well earned poise, rest and complacency. Not too many obstructions or impeding subplots here; seventh level lives usually unfold rather gracefully. Having freshly understood the lessons themselves, individuals are in a good position to teach others – especially those of the soul age just completed. For Mature and Old Souls particularly, there is an urgency to share their perceptivity and ways of being with others. Think of how fired up Roseanne Arnold and Robin Williams are, for example, to share their perceptions with us, or George Lucas and Martin Luther King.

Moamar Khadafy, at seventh level Baby, and Israel’s Prime Minister Shamir, seventh Young, don’t have lives that flow as easily as some but are tenacious enough with their beliefs, even under fire, to display that seventh level self-satisfaction which can feel maddeningly smug to those who happen to disagree. Ayn Rand is another seventh Young person who was quite self-contained regarding her belief structure.

Seventh-level lives often have a comfort and flow to them. Pat Sajak, for a time a late night-talk show host, formerly a disk jockey, TV weatherman, and sidekick to Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune, is ambitious, at ease, and seventh Young. Actors Alec Guinness and Danny DeVito, singer Bruce Springsteen, author Frank Herbert and sexologist Ruth Westheimer are all seventh Mature. Spiritual teachers Swami Muktananda and Swami Satchidananda both manifested at seventh level Old, as did the politician who bridged more than a few gaps in the Middle East, Anwar Sadat, and the one who insisted on ending slavery in the U.S., Abraham Lincoln.

This sequence of seven steps is repeated through each stage, making 35 steps in all from the beginning of reincarnation to the end.

The body is born, lives, and dies in this world. There is a force that sustains it, with its unique attributes, character, and skills. Together, these qualities form a being in our world that is no different from a beast. Animals live amongst themselves, separated from one another, but not as much as people, because they are not as well developed. The level of development is determined by the amount of variations in that creation.

Everything that happens to you in your past, present, and future belongs to this world. There are people who can predict the future, see the past, sense diseases, and so on, but all that relates only to our world, to the animate soul.

Spirituality is above the body, above the desire to take pleasure in material things. It is therefore not connected with the body. A “body” , means “desire.” If a person has acquired a screen, he feels the dressing of the Spiritual Light within.

The sensation of the Light, the Creator, within such a desire is called a “soul.” The Light changes according to the screen and any change in the screen is called a “reincarnation of the soul.”

A person in our world has only the animate reviving force, as do all other animals. If a person gets a desire to take pleasure in the Creator, a desire for the Upper One, a screen may be obtained by studying (there is no other way), and one will then receive a spiritual soul in addition to the animate soul. The animate soul does not change, but the spiritual soul changes all the time. A Kabbalist has two souls: the animate, and the spiritual.

Naturally, a Kabbalist is born with the animate soul and only later attains the higher, spiritual soul. It is said that everyone must come to the degree of Moses, meaning they must attain a soul such as that of Moses. Everyone must come to complete adhesion with the Creator and unite with the spiritual root that is in (the First Man), which contains all the souls within it.
