Baptism by Fire – “This is the Right of Passage”

I would like to relate my experiences, past and ongoing with the “Fire” of the Holy Spirit. In better respect to this is what is termed as the Baptism by Fire, as mentioned in the Bible numerous times when speaking of the Holy Spirit. But before I delve into the into this subject matter, I should first say that always the first of baptism’s are always by water. Now I never had a water Baptism growing up, while I went to Christian Camp and Attended Church with friends, I always miss this opportunity as my family was not apart of any traditional religious group, though that never swayed me from always actively seeking the Lord all throughout my life.

“Always keeping my Prayer at the end and start of each day, for many years I prayed deeply and meditated ceaselessly. Until one day while in meditation I became aware of an immense cool water rising around my feet and up my legs, startled at first I immediately snap myself out of it and the cool waters disappear. Upon another meditation again the waters returned, I tried to settle in to it but again failed to hold it together. Finally it happened while flying in a commercial airplane heading to a business tradeshow in Salt Lake City, while meditating waters began to rise up my legs and the water seemed to centralize just around my body. I clenched my teeth and gripped the arm rest allowing the waters to rise and rise till I was fully immersed. Then just as the waters rose, they dropped and disappeared from view, all while other passengers seemed unmoved and were mostly fast asleep. Upon the first night while visiting the city, I am asleep in my hotel room when most unbelievably I am awoken by the roaring sound of Wagner – Die Meistersinger Overture and the illumination of light filling thy room. I lifted myself while holding true to my covers as I decided to sleep in the buff this night and so as I rose I see to my exuberant surprise two small child like beings, like twins with matching green sweaters and white linin slacks, topped their heads with matching bowl style hair cuts. They have light features, with blond hair and blue eyes, and each are beaming with welcoming smiles, as I feel this wonderful draw toward them as welcoming an old friend I stand up to greet these two children of light still holding tight to my blanket. This is when I notice a third being, what appeared as a much larger adult size man, and wearing this magnificent hooded robe that appeared nothing short as peering into the entire milky way galaxy filled with twinkling stars of all colors, he stood motionless with fine attunement facing the door and hotel hallway. I presumed this man to be the guardian or archangel providing protection to this grand meeting. I approach the small child to the right and center between the child on the left and the guardian to the right, and I reach my hand out to the child as the child does as well, we lock our hand together as if having a hand shake. Holding this child-like small hand, I take notice in the electric energy causing a strange tingling and cooling sensation reaching through my hand and up my arm extending to thy chest and heart center. Then light filled my vision, so much light enwrapped us that the small children and guardian disappear within the fog of light so brilliantly filling the room, I felt myself loose grip with the child’s hand as I stumble backwards and quite dizzy in the whirling light encompassing my space as I sit back down on the edge of the bed I then flop back down laying on my bed as billions of life tronic light particles danced overhead, I fall into a deep slumber as the sounds of Wagner still penetrate every part of my room. I awake the next morning with great vigor and a new inner strength which I still carry with me today in all that this life experience offers me.”

While my experience was nothing short of fantastic, Baptism by water is the pivotal point when we accept the Holy Spirit and our Lord in our heart and embrace the Christ as our true savior. This reminds me of another account, years later of actually witnessing the true nature of our reality to be all but “Frozen Light” All the matter and all bodies within our entire reality are but frozen light, and when perceiving this truth, this reality we feel as so structured and solid. This reality is nothing more than a movie set with paper thin walls and hollowed structures all being held together by this light. Upon this realization I repeat this mantra daily as a reminder.

The Light of God is the Only thing that is Real, and it is the Only thing that can Save me!

The baptism by water is a sort of ceremonial washing to prepare yourself for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Water Baptism is your first act of obedience after putting your trust in the Holy Spirit. Water Baptism symbolizes that you are willing to follow the Christ, and have your life match it’s will for you. In my case it seems the Lord could not wait for me to get around to doing the physical baptism, and instead sought another method of the Holy Spirit.

Which brings me to an important point, the Ceremonies and Rituals we perform in a spiritual or religious practice have at it’s core the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and are all traced back into history to individual spiritual experience’s not of the material world but what occurs in spirit and then is translated into a physical demonstration of it in order to place the similar energy or message into the practice.

There are several key passages in the Bible pertaining to Baptism by Fire of the Holy Spirit. As it seems to portray a that in fact the Holy Spirit may be better understand as a Fire which is forever burning and can never be extinguished by water or any other means. Think of Moses on the mount with the Burning Bush, this fire is a persistent theme all throughout thee Bible and is often viewed a symbol of divinity. Many cultures view fire as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge.

Many Mystics and Shamans see fire as signifying the strength of grace which cannot be overcome, and that it may be understood why most of the prophetic visions are by fire. Fire illuminates, warms, refines, purifies and can change material from one form to another.

The Baptism by fire is also often used to describe a person who is learning something the hard way through a challenge or difficulty. In many cases, someone who starts a new job must undergo a baptism by fire, meaning they must immediately deal with one or more difficult situations.

Luke 3:16

John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Strength in the Lord, in the heart and in the vigor of this life experience is what is needed if thy wishes to tie back the sandals of thy heavenly messenger. As this spiritual baptism by fire, is in part administered by a heavenly host – working like a surgeon administering just the right amount of the fire element as one not to overload the human consciousness and not burst you like a light bulb. Think of this as I recount my own true and personal account of the Baptism by Fire.

“In my case this Baptism by Fire was sudden and without warning, it would come on while in slumber and always after my several hours of intense evening prayer I lay myself down to sleep. When all of a sudden I awake in one violent convulsion throwing myself out of my bed and sometimes 6-8 feet away. This spiritual fire would be filling my chest cavity, flowing up my arms, breathing fire out of my mouth, sometimes the fire is like a liquid flowing down my body and while the fire leaves no apparent residue or mark in my bed – I always feel it as I am totally immersed within it. Other times it seemed as though I was being fed flaming hot lava as it flowing into my mouth down to the pit of my stomach. For a while I was paralyzed to this near nightly occurrences, until by inexplicable moments the fire no longer burned and I began to clench the fire as it enwrapped by body. I began to pray each night that the fire would return as in these moments of enrapture vast glimpses of higher heavenly realms would reveal themselves to me. It was as if I were immersed in the dark depths of the ocean and then all of a sudden I am gleaming my eyes through the crescent of the waters edge and up into a magnificently beautiful surroundings full of infinite light and everything in a crisp arc of color, and more array’s of color I have ever imagined. This place breathed with all of creations lifeforce all in ever present vitality. After much more prayer, the Lords Angel, my Teacher drew my finer body of light out of my sleeping body appearing to me bedside and asked how I was doing, I said “I am fine except for the nightly fire baths, but I will overcome this as well” My Teacher looking much pleased with my forthright response, he speaks “This is the Right of Passage, for which you have done very well” as he places his hand upon my shoulder. We speak about other aspects this night, as he gives me special instruction as to what I still need to work on in my daily life, and always reminding me to “Eliminate all Outward Impressions”.

I was then instructed to Meditate Daily and Decree morning and night no matter what happens in the day to sustain the fire. Prayer is what sustains the fire and makes it burn always. Prayer is the oxygen that keeps the fire of God in our spirit burning with unprecedented flames.

My favorite Decree to Indwell the Fire of the Holy Spirit is called “Radiant Spiral Violet Flame”, repeat this everyday as many times as possible to expand the Flame of the Lord within you.

Radiant spiral violet flame,

Descend, now blaze through me

Radiant spiral violet flame,

Set free, set free, set free

Radiant violet flame, O come,

Expand and blaze thy light through me

Radiant violet flame, O come,

Reveal God’s power for all to see

Radiant violet flame, O come,

Awake the earth and set it free

Radiance of the violet flame,

Expand and blaze through me
